MISSION: A Mandate for a New America

MISSION:

It is undeniable that we are facing, as never before in the history of
the Republic, a breakdown in the Rule of Law as it affects the determination of public policy.

At the same time we are confronted with the rise of oligarchic power
impacting every aspect of our lives, resulting in the gradual dissolution
of the measure of political democracy which has previously existed.

TOWARD A PEOPLE'S CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE REPUBLIC:

THEREFORE, we must begin to develop a force which will be the foundation
for comprehensive constitutional change because all aspects of society are
derived from and underpinned by its Basic Law. It is futile to think about
reforming the existing system. Only a fundamental constitutional change
can provide the basis for the reconstruction of our Republic.

Whilst some provisions of the existing Constitution will be retained,
other vital omissions will, without doubt, emerge from this proposed
People's Constitutional Convention.

Such sample Articles, and provisions, to be considered and debated may
include:

1. A clear definition of personhood which excludes equating corporate
identity with individual human beings;

2. A commitment to the rights of human beings present within the nation's
boundaries to: shelter; food; education; work; health care; and the right
to marry irrespective of sexual orientation, gender, or trans gender
status;

3. Repeal of the Second Amendment, with an exception for the ownership of
non military weaponry, and subject to official, Federal certification;

4. The Right of Refugees fleeing life threatening, brutal and oppressive
societies to enter the United States and eventually apply for citizenship;

5. The Right of all Descendants of slaves to Reparations in accordance
with a formula and process established by the Federal Government for this
purpose;

6. The Right of all Workers, as a matter of Federal Law, to organize
entities to negotiate all aspects of their employment, and the right of
all workers, regardless of gender, to receive equal pay, with all others
doing similar work, performing the same tasks or services of their job, as
set out in the corporate job description.

LET US BEGIN, to develop this Network of Associates with independent
groups across the country and discuss the feasibility of collaborating to
stage this People's' Convention in the area of the Capitol, where with
Amendments proposed, debated, adopted and forcefully submitted to the
Congress and State legislators, by the Delegates we may take the first
steps for the reconstruction of this Republic.

Democracy is not a static thing. It is an everlasting march.

Franklin D. Roosevelt
