MFY Legal Services will be offering a free legal workshop from 10-5PM for those affected by Hurricane Sandy on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 at the District Office of Councilwoman Rosie Mendez:

Volunteer for Sunday November 4, 2012

TODAY: We will continue to have volunteers meet at 169/171 Avenue B at Noon. Please bring a flashlight, a pen, a clipboard/hard surface, and a bookbag or cart/stroller to carry supplies (if you have them). Also, continue to bring donations like non-perishable foods, blankets, flashlights and batteries to the Sixth Street Community Center (638 E. 6th St.) between Avenues B and C.

With the drop in temperatures this weekend, the City is providing warming center in the five boroughs for a place to get out of the cold. Please see times and locations below.
